I'm doing the same, as I surf my local kijiji ads and whimper as I see poor hams listed in tiny little houses. And I go "but I could bring them here!" but I don't have a car to go get them, and we don't have enough space... :< Hope all goes well.

I would take 2 if I were nearby.  Another concern I have about this whole thing is...the level of inbreeding involved here. Remember, a female can get pregnant really really young. The boys can be mating with mama again. Every single one of these hammies should not be mated in future. Who knows what genetics have gotten really screwed up by repeated inbreeding. By May how many generations will there have been?
