Full House.... And I'm loving it!
So around a month or so ago I rescued a ten year old beagle male from being put down. They were just giving him away or he was going to be put down the next day. His name is Buddie. Before I got Buddie I already had my cat, Willow, my three hamsters, Neville (Syrian), Rowena (Robo), and Nymphadora (Robo), And another cat that I'm fostering for a rescue named Rebound. Now that rescue has been over loaded with cats and dogs for a while and they needed someone to take one a beagle. And me being a beagle nut since I was eight decided sure why not. Well now I have my foster puppy Bella. A six year old female beagle. Now my house is full of animals and I'm in heaven. (Not saying that is stopping me from looking at other hamsters)

How wonderful! It's a great thing to step in and save Buddie and to foster animals in need. You must have a very big loving heart That will come back tenfold <3

Thank you, DrKMcK. My aunt runs the rescue and I've always wanted to help and now that I have my own place I can.
And you will get more pictures, Nyx. :P As soon as I get more pictures of Leo!!!

Fostering is great and rewarding, isn't it? I help my mom foster, and it does tug at your heartstrings when you get in some animals from bad situations.
I currently have 3 small foster puppies who are mutts, and another older foster puppy who is also a mutt. Take into consideration our 3 resident dogs, the resident cat, and my 2 hamsters and our pond full of goldfish and we've got quite a zoo!!

Re: Full House.... And I'm loving it!
All I can say is well done.
I could never foster just because I get too attached and would want to keep them all. I'm not strong enough to let them go, so I am very glad there are people like you who can do this very important job.
I do try to support rescues and plan on most of my future animals being rescues, currently my dog and two snakes are rescues. I didn't realise there were rescues for smaller animals until after I got mine, and tbh my hamsters were impulse buys... Not good I know.

My beagle 8 yr old Alfie had to be put down four weeks ago due to cancer, liver condition and resulting aggression. I miss him soooo much. Beagles are amazing dogs, I think that adopting any animal is a lovely thing to do, but know that you will get so much love, licks, selective hearing and hair everywhere in return.

I know exactly what you mean, although we don't have any dogs we certainly are kept very busy with our lot. Beagles are very cute doggies and you did well saving Buddie and bringing home Bella
