Re: The world According to Humphrey ;)
I read them when I was younger, I had the collection...I've probably still got them somewhere or given them to charity, and even though it was years ago, I remember enjoying them! Only book I've seen where a hamster is the main character
EDIT: funnily enough, guess what I just found in my book collection?

My little brother is reading them! In fact, when I first got Colby, he said, "He looks just like Humphrey!"!

Re: The world According to Humphrey ;)
I want to read them! I found them when I was doing some research because I wanted to write a hamster book geared to kids who have reached the age at which they tend to start asking for a pet that would also teach them about proper hamster care. That's when I discovered the Humphrey series and realized my dream wasn't a new one

Re: The world According to Humphrey ;)
I just checked these books and wound up buying about 6-7 Humphrey books after reading this thread. I just finished the first one and they are adorable.

Re: The world According to Humphrey ;)
Wow I didn't realise there were so many of them! I remember reading one when I was younger. It was the one when a frog/toad moves into the classroom as the new pet, and Humprey gets jealous. I loved that book. I've always said that if I got another Cream Banded I would all him Humprey.
