More Snow!
Wow, the first time I was excited just because it snowed. That was just a practice run though because, well, see for yourself!

Re: More Snow!
I tried taking pictures last night because the effect of white snow on a black background was stunning. My camera just wasn't up to the job unfortunately and only the one of the truck sort of turned out.
The snow had let up a bit when I went out to take the pictures this morning but I just looked out and it's snowing even harder than ever

That's what I'm used to closer in to downtown. I live out in what's known as the Highlands now and we do get snow. I knew we would, the weather reports are always pointing it out and commuters coming in often have snow stuck to their vehicles while we were experiencing warm, sunny weather in town. I was always a wee bit envious

Re: More Snow!
Personally I'm sick of snow. We had another snow storm on Thursday night and Friday morning and we got seven inches. A lot of people in the surrounding towns lost power multiple times. The snow is so deep in places it comes up to my waist. And we have designated places to dump snow in our towns because we have no where else for it to go.

I remember a year like that. We had 7 feet of snow fall in only a couple of months and the town had to bring in dump trucks to cart it away when the snowbanks got dangerously high! Then spring hit in February. I remember because I would normally not be able to get out on my bike until April or May normally and that year I was in t-shirt and shorts in February. Weird winter all around. I'm excited because where I've been living the last 10 years I've only seen snow maybe once every few years and it doesn't last more than a week. I don't expect this to last either but all my family are living further east and they are experiencing major snowstorms so I do know what you're all going through!

Re: More Snow!
Over one night we got 7" inches with already multiple inches on the ground. I can honestly say I'm ready for spring...

Re: More Snow!
I am so ready for spring. In fact, I have to start thinking about seedlings now. They need to be started indoors at the end of Feb. beginning of March. But, truthfully, I don't think the Winter is done with us yet.
