ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just showing my dad the pics of Colby and i asked if I could get a hamster and he said NO of course but then i said what if I 'borrow' Colby from you/Colby and the dwarfs and if you/Colby and the dwarfs came with us to pic my hamster when and if I get one, so I can pic a good healthy and nice one. Guess what he said "I'll have to the think about that." and with a smile/smirk on his face. If you know my dad (hopefully u don't) that usually means yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abbey, that's awesome! Email me?
!!!Surprise Animal!!!
This is Pirate. He's 1/2 of my bonded pair of Red Eared Sliders! He's 10 1/2 years old. He only has one eye and is a "rescue". My dad was at the petstore, 10 yrs ago, and he saw one baby turtle in a tank all by himself. Nobody wanted him because of his missing eye. My dad took him home and gave him to me that night. I was pretty young, and I adored him! Years later, we got Katie, who I'll post later. This is Pirate's good side, meaning the side with an eye.
Look at his claws!

Here's Katie. She's a few year younger than Pirate. They're best friends, they do everything together, it's so sweet!

Re: Hammy photo shoot(with some surprise animals you've never seen!)!
ok, I can't wait to see little basil, I'm very jealous! I've emailed the breeder btw, and I'm sure I will have lots of questions for you!
how long do they live?
what do they eat?
can you/do they like being handled?
I know this sounds pretty stupid, but are they really sore and spiked when you are handling them?
do they live in a guinea pig cage and do they use a wheel and a house?
what are some common health problems? do they get things like wet tail or do they vomit frequently?
can't wait too get mine!

Re: Hammy photo shoot(with some surprise animals you've never seen!)!
Okay, so this is a bit off topic, but I love talking about him so here we go:
About 5 years I believe
Basil eats cat food!
Ask her for am especially tame one, as you're a first time owner and I'm sure she'll show you ones that are really tame. They take some work, but you can hold them.
No! It really doesn't hurt if they're not alarmed
Yes, YES, and yes
Hibernation. If they get cold, they'll hibernate, and eventually die because they weren't prepared
