I'd do a mix of all that, similar to what insects find outside. Now, I wonder if they'll lay eggs and make new mealworms? You might never need to buy mealies again!!! You have got to keep us updated on this project!

Re: I don't know what to do.
I'm crazy. I now have set up a tank for beetles that I bought to feed to my gecko
Oh well. The setup consists of a area to climb, a feeding area, and, just incase, a egg-laying area. This is a pic of the old container inside the new one.

Re: I don't know what to do.
These two Beetle Crew members found a carrot I had hidden under the egg-laying place(for babies) ,dug it up, and proceeded to eat it!

Re: I don't know what to do.
These are easy, a friend of mine raises them, and I did once upon a time as well! They'll eat any vegetable matter, try throwing an old carrot in there or a potato, even an apple...whatever you have on hand basically! If you have some bran flakes cover them with that and you'll quickly have your own breeding colony of mealworms

Re: I don't know what to do.
Aw I hope it'll work out for you. You can literally start beetle farm and sell your ethical and locally sourced product for fellow reptile owners. Hehehehe
