Your favorite food?
I thought it would be a great idea to talk about what everyone likes to eat (okay, maybe I'm getting hungry and its all I can think about right now ). Here's what I like to eat:
Sweet and Sour Chicken (with fried rice and an egg roll on the side)
Cinnamon buns (those Cinnabon ones are especially good)
(Southern) Fried Chicken
Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yeah, I know that these aren't the healthiest choices, and I don't eat them every day, but what's some crispy fried chicken every once in a while?
What do you like?

Chips with cheese and gravy. The chips have to be thick ones though, not the thin fries.

Re: Your favorite food?
Since it's Winter now, I go into soup mode! Split Pea soup with ham & fresh baked corn muffins! (made it yesterday), beef vegetable bean soup (making it tomorrow), chicken vegetable soup (probably on Friday ). Also, I love to start the morning making fresh baked banana nut muffins. I do so love retirement

Yes we can. The southeast especially. If you can dip it in batter and then fry it in oil, its been done here. The most indulgent fried food is deep fried twinkies with a side of deep fried coke to wash it down (in the case of liquids, like coke, you'd pour the coke into the batter, mix well, and pour the coke batter into the fryer, then scoop out the fried bits and put 'em in a cup )
The list of foods you can fry includes Twinkies, Oreos, Snickers, and I've heard rumor of some people deep frying sticks of butter, but I don't know if that's true.
I also need to add soda to my list. I love it. Diet Coke and Diet Mountain Dew are my favorites.

Re: Your favorite food?
Pizza. Pizza. Pizza.
Actually my favourite when I was growing up was sausages, beans and mash and it's still total comfort food. I sometimes just make it a bit more 'adult' by slicing the sausages, adding some sage and onion stuffing and then wrapping them up in bacon to cook. And champ instead of mash if I'm feeling daring. Proper winter food.
I could exist on fried chicken and chicken goujons. With sweet chilli sauce. Hungry now...
