There's good news and some more good news!!

First, on Sunday morning on the 5th of January..... I'm getting another pet!! I will be the proud owner of a black, white and tan smooth coat, female Jack Russell!!! Yay!! She is white with patches of Black and Tan. She's got a patch over her right eye that makes her look half rockriler! (Sp??) Also, she is 9 months

And I'm starting a YouTube channel on mainly, you guessed it, hamster care!! It's going to be called Pepsisworld88 or something like that anyway (I might not be able to get that name) so please check out my vids or maybe even sub when I have got my channel up and running

But one tiny bit of sad news leading into even more good news ..... I will not be expanding the hamily.... Yet

my mum isn't keen on getting even more hamsters just yet so if I prove I can stop making a mess with Pepsis cage I can buy a hybrid!!!

So I hope you liked all my good news!!!!

By the way, we are looking for a companion for are new dog so if you see any sort if low priced Jack Russell's (I am saving most of my money for supplies so the dog can't be too expensive

Wow! You have an awesome month! Good luck with your new dog! She sounds adorable! Also good luck if you get a new member of the hamster family

Also you mentioned you wanted a "cheap" dog, sorry but no dogs "cheap" you may find a dog which is a low price but remember you need to afford vet bills and many supplies for your new dog! Maybe just for now stick with one dog and once that dog has settled in you can get another dog, then you will probably have a bit more money

Btw- I will definitely subscribe to your new youtube channel!

Awww i love good news

Why not try a rescue centre? Sooo many dogs out there need new homes. I'm sure when the tine is right you will have no problems finding a Jack Russel in rescue. Do you watch Paul O'Gradys for the love of dogs? Gosh that programme has me in tears everytime.

I know icklemunch I cry every time also! And yes, we put the new dog on reserve in the local rescue so she is a rescue

Hamsters4eva I know, cheap was the wrong word

I have saved up quite a lot for vet bills and supplies so a low priced dog would be ideal but, of course, it's all about the dog really. I may get some birthday money and I could save up a bit by spring time

(I love spring)

One of the problems with "cheap" dogs vs. good pedigree dogs is that they may have not had the right health checks so you could end up with an animal that has long term problems. It might be better to either look at a rescue dog and have a big vet fund or investigate good breeders who do the appropriate health checks for the breed of your choice.

Personally I'd stick with the one dog if money is tight. I'd love a dog but we can't afford one at the moment

Evel_lin I know, the only real reason I asked is because my aunt once got lucky and found a pedigree chihuahua that needed rehoming urgently for £180!! Considering how much chihuahuas are normally I think that was really good

Also I'm very sorry. Maybe at the end of the year?

nah it will probably be in about 5-10 years. We want to continue saving a deposit for our own house rather than being stuck in rented forever and a dog isn't compatible with that for us at the moment. We have two cats, 6 hamsters and four children so the dog will have to wait lol
