New Year Hopes And Wishes

What are your wishes, hopes, dreams and big events fort 2014?!

2014 is the first whole year (January - December) that I have spent married to my husband!!

Aside from the obvious good health & happiness of pets, friends and family, I hope to move house this year. New house=finally get my long awaited for ragdoll kittens!

I also hope to be whisked off my feet by Prince Charming - I say this every year and he never shows up. He must have gotten lost

I also want to finally get down to visit Monkey World. Have been wanting to go for so long and just never had the chance.

I'm hoping to:

-move house with my boyfriend
-get myself to the gym more (!)
-work harder & try to be happier!

BTW, what is Monkey World?

I am moving house as well, just signed the papers yesterday. I'm a little uncertain how it's going to work out as I'm moving in with a longtime friend. NOT a boyfriend, just a friend. We get along like brother and sister which is neither all good nor all bad, we're just comfortable with each other. Will see how this works when we're in the same space every day

I really like the area we're going to though. It's out of town, near a big lake and lots of wooded areas and trails for hiking. My friend has a canoe and we both like the outdoors and neither of us can stand cities. This city is growing so quickly and the attitude of the average city dweller is so bad that we don't want to be here any more. It may be a cultural thing but out here nobody will give you the time of day if they don't already know you or haven't been introduced by someone they already know. It's very weird and it's something that newcomers often comment on. But just outside city limits that all changes so...hopefully we'll feel welcome again!

It's a sanctuary here in the UK for primates that have been rescued from the pet trade or stolen from the wild. They rescue them from all over the world and do an amazing job
