Surgery next year! :)
aas many of you know, ive been ill with my thyroid problem for 3 years and over the last 2 months I haven't been able to breathe right and ive been sick and really ill and none of the doctors have helped. Well good news, I got to see my thyroid doctor FINALLY and I had a scan, and it is pressing on my neck. which mean, in febuary im having my thyroid out finally! it means all my auto immune problems will go away fo life, so I wont get so ill, I wont be on so much medication and ill be healthy for once :3 im so happy! scared, but happy! x

So happy for you! Will you be off school until after it's done or is it an outpatient procedure? I've no idea!

thankyou very much Yeah, ill be in for a few days with drains in my neck on tubes and stuff, and then for a week + depending on when my drains come out and everything stops hurting so bad etc. But as im at a animal based collage ill probably take a bit of time off to stop infection, as its quite major sugery, the risks are scary :S

Ick Oh well, it may not hurt as much as you fear! If you're anything like me the effects of the anaesthetic will linger and you'll be very happy for a good long while
