Make sure they take the whole lot.I had a thyroid op last year and they only took out the middle part and now I need another op as the rest has become swollen and is pressing on my neck. Also it took me over a month to recover from the op-I tried to do too much too soon and it caused problems.Hope it goes well for you.Take painkillers!!
