Exclamation Help! Choosing a Camera

Hello everybody

So I do YouTube Videos, Hamster ones and general animal ones. Indoors aswell as out, and I'm looking for a New Camera. My price range would stretch £400 max. and the camera will be used for photography as well as film. I am currently looking at these 3 cameras: Canon Powershot SX50 HS, Panasonic Lumix FZ200 and Canon EOS 600d

If you have any cameras you'd recommend or could help in anyway please leave a reply!

We recently researched cameras and got a Panasonic lumix DMC-LF1. We really wanted a view finder for outdoor photography in the summer. It does videos.

I have always been a fan of Nikon photography equipment. I have the D90 and absolutely love it.

The D3200 fits in well with your requirements. It is 24.2 Megapixel and can capture full HD video. There are some very good deals out there at the minute and you can get it for about £350 with lens. I saw a few under£300 with cashback options.

Good luck with whatever you decide to go for - all of the 3 you have mentioned are very good.

What is you YouTube channel???

I have a Canon EOS 500d and you can see what the pics look like on my posts. I don't tend to do video though as it isn't really my thing though the camera can do it. I do like Canon cameras and have always had them

I brought a Canon 650d about four months ago and I absolutely love it, I have taken some great photos with it and would recommend it to anyone. I friend of mine had the Canon bridge camera but he sold it on, he said that he was really disappointed and unimpressed with it. I can't really give a opinion about the Panasonic camera, though I do have a Panasonic TZ18 which I take everywhere with me and I like.

The most important thing in choosing a camera is YOU being comfortable with it we can go on and on saying what camera we like and why, but it comes down to what camera you would like and why.
You have to be comfortable with your new camera, you have to like the grip, the button layout, and you have to decide how user friendly it is.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the cameras you selected are from different categories. The canon sx50 hs is pretty versatile considering the fact that you have a 50x optic zoom, the same dial SLR's provide in order to choose manual modes if you wish to control the outcome of your photos. The canon SLR on the other hand usually comes with only one lens, that will definitely not cover the 50x optic, but will have sharper pictures and usually better colour rendition.
Owning an SLR can be expensive if you will want to expand your collection! And since you will be filming indoors as well you will most likely need a lens that can perform better in low light than the kit lens usually offered on canon SLRs.
keep these things in mind when you are choosing your new camera!

I have a Nikon D3100, it's brilliant. Got it off amazon and bought a 32gb card, 3ft extendable tripod and bag for £340 all separate sellers off amazon but when it was bought last christmas it was over £100 cheaper than argos etc

Hello, I'm majorly into electronics and technology and I can tell you if you're looking for a new camera go with any Panasonic Lumix. Panasonic makes the best digital cameras. I have had 2, but gave my first one to my dad! I bought it so long ago and never had one problem with it or my current one and they take beautiful pics. Also they have so many models to choose from so you can definitely find what you're looking for!
