Ill Again :(

Have you noticed it be worse after you've eaten any particular foods or used any products? Maybe you could talk to your doctor about it being an allergy.

I've been trying to narrow down some things that set my allergy off. I've found that chilli, cinnamon and mustard make it worse. Also breakfast cereal, and ketchup. I keep meaning to go back to my doctor to ask for a referral but the last time I went they weren't very helpful and basically just said keep taking the antihistamines. I had to stop taking them a few months ago because I had too many side effects and it was affecting my work. When I go back I shall see a different doctor and I will be more assertive too

thankyou, I haven't been off too much, ive just had a load of assignments that I didn't bother to start and now all 5 are in next week oops! so ive been in the library xD But yes, I have seen you there haha! okay, observant.. I like it x

Um... glands swell up to the size of pebbles, particularly in your throat, you feel feverish (sudden hot flushes), fatigue and general zombie-ness, aches and pains, sometimes flu-like symptoms, sore throat, yada yada.

It also lowers your immune system and brings on other things. Whilst I've had it, I got tonsillitis, which then turned into a respiratory infection (which is not good because I'm asthmatic) and later a stomach sickness bug thing.

You can't have antibiotics or any other treatment, you just have to live with it. :'( It hasn't left my system yet and at night I often cough and rasp because my throat is swollen and it gets on my chest.

It's not nice! They say its transferred by saliva and stuff, which is why its often called the kissingbug or something like that. O.o But I've managed to give it to people without anything of the sort! (well, aside from two of them.... xD)


And OMG you have got to catch up with that. O.O I know all about getting behind. I'm sat here right now still doing last years work, because once you get behind it is VERY hard to catch up again! Now I've got this years coming in and its a nightmare... Seriously. Do your assignments. xD

Yeah, well I don't know, its every night without fail :S I don't know, I have the doctors Thursday so that's good I guess x

I don't know if its that, its just my throat closing up every night, and every now and again in the day :S I have to leave collage early Thursday to go to the doctors again x
that sucks how ill you were/are, I hope you feel better!

im slowly catching up, ive done 2 now, and am half way through two more x

just thought id let you all know what the doctors said, im having a scan on my thyroid to see if I have any growths on it or if its swollen backward which could be pressing on my throat x Should be having the scan in a few weeks! x
