Those pillows need, like, a hot water bottle or something inside them. I can't imagine snuggling up to one of those and it being cold, unlike snuggling up to the boyfriend (who I swear is a human radiator).
Talking of houses, the one I lived in last year was okay-ish, but the landlady was incompetent, and there's this massive damp patch on the kitchen wall. We've looked outside, and the reason the damp is there is because there's a piece of guttering missing, so water is running down the wall and soaking in to it. There's actually white fuzzy stuff on the outside of the damp patch now
But yeah, the landlady paints over the damp patch every year and it's got to the stage where I'm not sure the house will be structurally safe in a few years time, and she's not done the (incredibly simple) fix that will prevent the damp getting bad in the first place
And that was one of many problems, albeit the most obvious one.
