I figured if Game of Thrones was recommended, then the Sookie Stackhouse novels were fair game. In their defense, they are much less explicit than the show

I know, true blood series is basically classy(er) porn. Game of thrones is awesome <3 I think that for the TV show the main interview question is probably 'Are you prepared to be naked on camera?'

I have one of the True Blood books, never read it and it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I realised what it was.
I read a lot of books, usually either urban/dark fantasy stuff or crime/thriller stuff. My favourite authors include Kim Harrison, Carrie Vaugn, Patricia Briggs, Stephen Leather and Andy McNab.
Just read 'Terror Cops' which was good, anyone interested in terrorism might want to read it. Half way through The City and The City by China Miéville and sort of rereading Kim Harrisons Hollows series.

I like my 'Dark Fantasy' genre, anything magical and supernatural. I like getting stuck into something that is completely fictional. No better way to get away from the world <3

Totally agree! Kim Harrison's Hollows series is what got me into magical/supernatural type books.

I really liked the Hunger Games trilogy. Probably still some of the best books I've ever read.  xxx
