Re: I need help
How about taking a picture of someone doing a handstand and rotate the picture 180 degrees

But then they're on carpet and it doesn't look right. :\ And then the fact that I can't find anyone who can do a handstand!

Re: I need help
if you can use photoshop i would take a pic of the room with no person in it, then take a pic of someone standing on a chair or stool so their hands touch the ceiling and then layer the 2 photos on top of each other and cut out the chair

Re: I need help
What I would probably do is try to find a mostly blank space to use as the backdrop, and then use things that you would typically hang from the ceiling on the floor instead. (Like chandeliers, wind chimes, other light fixtures.) Then you could have someone pose in many different ways, flip it, and see what looks best. Even some "hanging" by their feet might look cool, like with one leg hooked onto a chandelier so it would appear they were hanging upside down. Sorry, am I making sense? I know what I'm picturing in my head but sometimes it's hard to describe in words!

No, no...it makes sense.
You could have a ventilator/lampshade on the floor and have the person standing next to it with their arms straight up above their head.

Re: I need help
If you were hanging from the ceiling in the way suggested above by your feet - you could lay out a white sheet on the floor to make sure it was ceiling coloured.
Does it have to be a person? Or could you do it with props? Just thinking a dolls house may be an option for turning it on its head?

Re: I need help
Have you got a carpetless room with reasonably bland walls? If so you could move the furniture out of part of it (and take anything off the walls), get hold of a lamp shade and put it wide-side up on the floor, with a small torch inside (to make it look like an on light), and then just stand there looking smug. Photographed from the right angle it could look like you're hanging from an old wooden ceiling with a lamp hanging down from it.
