Do you happen to have any wild life refuges or reserves in the area? There is one by my parent's house that takes in injured wild animals and rehabs them and sets them free if possible. Or even a zoo? They are probably better equipped to take care of the bird.
Either way, good luck little guy! I hope he makes it.
