I just went out for a family meal, Im not the partying type so unlike my older brothers who both had huge 18th birthday parties I just wanted something nice so a meal seemed like the best option. Although both me and Mr Bobtail did have an A-Level exam on the morning of my 18th so we had to attend that and annoyingly because of a mistake by the teachers we ended up staying there later that we were supposed to (3 hours over all) and almost missed our reservation at the restaurant! I think I had one drink of Smirnoff ice that day too with my meal, I forget even now that I am legally allowed to drink, whenever people offer me one I always ask for an orange juice first until they question me on why I'm not having alcohol

I was in my senior year of high school for my 18th. I don't remember what I did No alcohol though, we can't drink till 21.

I often have wine with meals out, but if I'm in a bar or something I want lemonade or orange juice most of the time and I've been legally allowed to drink for three years!

I really am not the kind of person who likes to drink themselves silly, so that won't be happening!!

Yeah my OH is exactly the same, we'll be out for a meal and he'll order coke He's only been 18 for a month though
