I had someone dislike all my videso. Also had someone having a go at me because I'd critisised someone elses hamster cage. It's stupid. I don't watch YouTube videos now unless I know the person who posted it so I'm not tempted to comment on peoples tiny cagse. Doesn't matter if you're nice as pie or just trying to help.

I have no idea how many subs I have, I only use it to post vids of Luna on here.

She sounds like a very silly little girl to me mango.

I wouldn't bother thinking about it
You enjoy making youtube videos and they'll be others who enjoy watching them and some that don't. But in the end if you want to upload a video, then go ahead and do it without hesitation. I think youtubers are great for encouraging self confidence and giving people free expression.

I've been lucky with comments on my videos, though I have been accused of being a 'hoarder', that just made me laugh!
The only thing that really bugged me was when someone suggested Treo was in pain and should be pts. They are entitled to their opinion, but I let them know it wasn't their place to judge and moved on.

Anyways, i haven't had much time for youtube lately. I must catch up on some of your vids and get going with some of my own x

There's this girl who thinks i don't love my guinea pigs as much as my hamsters (because i bought a few things for the hamsters and nothing for the guinea pigs) and ever since she's watched them, she dislikes each of my vids and leaves a mean message for 5 seconds so it appears in my emails, then deletes it so nobody else can see it :/
It put me in a really bad mood this morning when i read the comment when originally i was excited about being off to work experience. Sigh.. Maybe i just hold grudges too long
is there any way you can block her?

i watch your vids on YouTube regularly and comment.

that girl is been a complete idiot! she sounds so mature, not!!

don't take any notice, you can tell in all of your vids that you love all your pets and there sooo spoilt!! x

I saw a show, called Animal Cops: Houston, where this animal hoarder had about 200 cats all living in absolute squalor in her run down house. Most of the cats had serious health problems and were completely feral, thus they had to be humanely euthanized. There was a tiny kitten that was both social and in reasonable health that they were able to nurse it to health and successfully adopt it out.

In the home he came from though, there was a layer of urine and feces and who knows what else on nearly every surface and according to the comments from the investigators, it smelled absolutely horrible and was completely overpowering. There were insects all over too. Roaches, fleas, and other bugs living and feeding off of the filth. Probably a few rodents too, though not many because the cats would probably hunt them down on sight.

It was saddening to know that the woman lived in that house, among the filth and disease that was rampant throughout it. It was also no wonder that she was so sick that she had to be hospitalized and the Animal Cops called out to take care of the cats.

I've also been in a cat hoarder's home and it smelled so strongly of cat urine and feces and was stacked with garbage all over ( old newspapers, boxes of junk stacked ceiling high, and a layer of filth and stains nearly everywhere. The poor old woman who was hoarding the animals was clearly in need of some help. I felt sad for her and wanted to help her, though at the time I was a small girl and couldn't really do much for her. She was very nice though, but clearly not all there in the head.

Usually hoarding is a product of mental instability and whatnot and the person can't seem to help doing it. Its very sad.

I also recently heard of a man who was all alone in the world, no family, no friends, no one to really talk to. So he surrounded himself with cats. This wasn't a true hoarding situation, because he had only a small number in relation to many hoarding cases and he wasn't mentally unstable, but it was beyond sad that all he had in his life were those cats for company and family. He was once a very successful veterinarian but came down on some hard times. He eventually died and wasn't found till some many days later, his body still surrounded by the cats he so deeply cherished.

So, no, you are most definitely not a hoarder. Just someone who has a lot of room in their lives and heart for a few small animals with big personalities.

I think the difference between a hoarder and someone who just loves having lots of animals around is that the former doesn't actually have the means to look after all the animals but still keeps getting more, whereas the latter will only go as far as they can afford time-wise and financially. I only have one ham at the moment because it's all I have the space for. If I could, I'd have multiple hamsters, and other animals besides, but I know that I can't, so I don't

So really, you are definitely not a hoarder. No one on this forum is slightly nuts, sure, but not unreasonable about our slight hamster obsessions

More on topic... some people suck, and the anonymity of the internet makes the people who suck more active in their suckery. If you can't block her, I think the best you can do is report and ignore.
