how many hamsters?

I have 5 as of June 24, 2012.

I adopted Sura, my self black female Campbell's Russian Dwarf around March 17, 2012. Then in May I adopted Arya and Xena, the agouti sisters (one is mottled, the other is self), as well as their cousin Adrian (mottled argente). All 4 of these Campbell's Russian Dwarfs came from Kaanli Hamstery in Virginia. She is AMAZING. Then today I picked up a young long-haired Syrian, who we think is a female, from a rescue litter. I haven't been able to verify as she is settling in and will need to be hand tamed once she's comfortable with her new surroundings. I don't think her siblings were handled much at all.

I once had two Syrians, which we had to separate (one went to a family member, while I kept the black and white banded female). I've never had more than two hamsters at one time. Even when I had my very first dwarf hamsters, I had a pair. My parents did limit me, as well. Now as an independent adult, I have to try to limit myself as they did, otherwise I would probably end up on animal hoarding or something LOL!

I have 3 babies, 2 Syrians and 1 Russian Dwarf. This is the most I've ever had at once. Aaaaaand I love them all to itty bitty pieces!

Its soo hard to just keep one! I told myself no more then 2.. then no more then 3. Then i found the momma and 2 babies lol. Im gonna try to pace myself and bot get anymore if i can help it lol.. espically of momma turns out to be preggers.. im ganna have my hands full haha by the way mine are 3 campbells(percy my black male, sugar my rew female, and pepper my black silvered female) momma is a normal (suppose to be winter white) and both babies are opal(again suppose to be winter whites..)

I have 6, but I might have another one coming that I'll be rehoming. I would like to have 7 as my limit, but I might go up to 8-9, depending on the hammies situation. I never thought that I'd have to many hammies!

I would probably have more if I could. But realistically I don't have any more room! All 3 are in my room, my very small room. Jasmine's Kevin 82 is on the floor, with Roxy's ZZ1 on top of it. And Cheeto's Kevin 82 is at the foot of my bed in a spot just barely big enough for it! I move the ZZ1 every time I need to or want to get to Jasmine.

We have 4 at the moment - 3 permanent and one possibly/probably permanent
And a gerbil
And guinea pigs
We were at our peak at 7 hamsters but i can't go that high again, my top would be 5.

I have 5, but it's one too many really. I shouldn't have got Storm but he was irresistible and it's lovely seeing him gradually settle and become tamer. I also have a dog, two cats, two daughters and a husband so we are rather full here - especially when I remember I only had the two cats and the humans a year ago!

Currently 7, 6 dwarfs and 1 Syrian. It will be 9 next month with the addition of 2 new dwarfs. My OH also has 1 Syrian so between us we have 8
