We're flooded!

We've been having some of the worst rains we've ever had here! We are officially in a natural disaster state!

These first two pictures are by the highschool (which I just graduated from). These pictures are in the back, where we would get out from the buses. You can't even tell there was a parking lot there, and by the doors, there is a ramp leading up ... well you can't even see that!

This one is by one of the colleges. This picture is on one of the roads.

This last picture is of a seal, which got out at our zoo, and found it's way to the road. The Polar Bear also got out because the enclosure flooded all the way up. Sadly, many farm animals were lost, as they were in their pens in the barn. Including the Donkey they've had since I was little.

I'll put more pictures on as I see them. Around my house it isn't too bad on the roads, but our yard is flooded and our basement is getting a lot of water.

ETA: Just got two more pictures near the highschool!

oh wow imagine if a polar bear turned up in your back garden!? I'd positively crap myself hahaha.

Oh that looks terrible...Are people coming round to collect the animals or can nothing be done at the moment?

You must live near the Mississippi river. It usually causes some mild flooding when the spring melt comes, though nothing like this. I hope it goes down soon and people can start to rebuild their lives again.
