Summer Fair Owls

Well as I'm waiting for Sherlock to wake up so I can get some new pictures...thought I'd share this pics with you. It was out local fair today and I had a nice walk round and spotted an Owl display....and I love them so I rushed over and spent around 30 mins cooing over them and got these pictures.




This lil one stole my heart completley!

I love owls. And talking of them, look at this amazing owl butterfly that my daughter saw on a school trip.

Ah beautiful. I love owls too. We saw one on holiday recently at the Welsh Mountain zoo. It was only a baby and was called Spooky - my 4 yr old daughter loved it and kept talking about it afterwards!

I saw a similar display at a local steam rally a couple of years ago, it was lovely to be able to see them up close and stroke them - usually they are just behind a barrier, and though lovely to look at it amazing to be able to interact with them a little.

I'm absolutely terrified of large-ish birds and generally dislike them, esp birds of prey, parrots, seagulls...

but I'm ok with owls for some reason. Not that I would've dared going that close to it!
