Re: Hedgehogs
Bizziedogs: Hi thanks for the info. Love the pictures aswell - so cute
Erin: It is pretty expensive but I will be saving up for about one or two years so should hopefully get enough money There is a breeder about 10 minutes away from my home so i might get in touch with her for some more information

Re: Hedgehogs
bizziedogs sadly i cant quite tell from those pictures what he is.
on a note though, the cage hes in isnt suitable for an APH, they shouldnt have bared cages as they can really hurt them selves in them
Erin Loves Dwarf Hamsters, the long eared hogs kept as pets are the Egyptian and the Indian, and yep, the ELEH are common in cyprus
AngelAmes, out of interest where abouts in sheff are you located? wheres the breeder? theres a breeder in maltby that i wouldnt touch with a barge pole, i got my first girl off her and sadly lost her to WHS
if you want to see pictures of my boys

Re: Hedgehogs
hedgies can climb wire bars, an if they do they can fall and hurt them selves rather badly, including breaking legs
the use of them is not recommended at all
this thread has some amazing set up ideas for hoggies

Re: Hedgehogs
Hi tiggy has never tried to climb so dont think this is much of a problem the only thing he ever does is run on his wheel havnt even seen him stretch to reach the bars its just not something he does, his back legs wouldnt allow him to stretch to the bars, this picture doesnt really show how high the nearest bar is. thankyou for the concern and i will let my sister know

I have had a look at some of the set ups in that thread and they look great. One thing I was wondering about... Why are all the wheels in trays?
