2 years today since I quit smoking!!!!

It's been 2 years today since I last had a ciggy I quit cold turkey after a few attempts,I wasn't 100% ready but I knew that I needed to quit and I didn't want to be 40 and saying "I wish I'd quit when I was in my 20's)
I'd smoked from being waaaaay too young (12) and was on 20+ a day and my OH quit a few months after me in October,so we are both much healthier and better off and can afford to do uh nicer things xx

P.s we are going to Nandos in abit to celebrate x

Congrats!!! Very happy for you!!!!! All the money you save is amazing!!! Plus, I'm sure your hammies prefer a non-smoke smelling mom I know that's a hard task to do and am so happy I never started because I knwo it'd be hard for me to stop.

Congrats! I know that must have been very difficult to do! A friend once told me that quitting smoking was the hardest thing he has ever had to do so I definitely commend you, on that.


It's always wonderful when we accomplish our own personal goals. I'm glad to hear that you are happier and healthier!

thanks guys I never thought I'd be able to stop,but I did! and I can trully say that I'd NEVER start smoking again. I saw what it did to my Dad and unfortunately it cost him his life, I know he'd be very prpoud of me. I have put 4 stone on, and my OH has put 2-3 stone on,but I'd rather be an ummpa lumpa than smoke again lol

I think we save about £1800 each per year! xxx

My mum put weight on after she quit smoking too. And £1800! Wow, you can do a lot with that

yeah we going to Florida in January for 2 weeks can't wait! much better than wasting it on ciggies xxx
