Signature Help Please...

As you may have noticed, I've just designed a new sig!
I made it on Photoshop, but here's my problem...
I start with a canvas 480x60 so I do no resizing, and when I save it to my computer it looks fine, but when I upload it to HC it looks really bad quality.
How can I solve this problem? o.O

Do you use the signature picture upload thing or upload it to somewhere like Photobucket then use the [img] BBCode to add it?

It's probably because of the file size limit of 22kb

I upload it from the computer straight onto HC, Starlight.

Well it looks better quality when I open it as a photo on the computer than what it does on HC for some reason...unless it's just my computer

Try using something like Photobucket, which doesn't have the filesize limit. Probably won't make a bit of difference but it's worth a try.

Could it be that viewing it against a different background? I find stuff looks much smaller in photoshop than they do on a webpage. God only knows why but I do >.<

I tried uploading with Flickr - it looked fine on Flickr but still went not as good quality on HC when uploading from that link.

I checked the file size and it was 9kb so not a problem there. :/

It does actually... Around 'Pepper' it's really obvious... Really weird :/
