My other half is a really good swimmer - trained lifeguard
I am not that great I know the basic strokes and can do lengths slowly all day long. Luckily with diving stamina is the most important thing
C.M.A.S. converting to the PADI scheme can enroll as follows:
Advanced Open Water if holding a C.M.A.S. * certificate
Rescue Diver if holding a C.M.A.S. * certificate + a minimum of 9 logged dives within which there must be each of the following:
- 1 night dive
- 1 navigation dive
- 1 deep dive (> 18 meters)
Which isn't much to be honest as I had to do a lot more specialist dives to get my Advanced PADI before I could even start my Rescue Diver.
