My project for English class!

Haha, I'm the same way! Had to recite a 128 line poem about a month ago At least my friend's helping me with this one though and she's not shy in front of people.

good luck, im the same i cant speak in front of people even if i know them, i barley speak to people in front of my family :L

I hated talking infront of the class and my english teacher always seemed to pick me to do it

i just used to stare out the window and talk lol when they started asking questions afterwards i found that the hardest

I also hated them.. The only plus side was our English teacher in 4th year(when i was doing my standard grade English) wasn't too fussed and the whole class got 1's (the top grade) xD So it was kind of a case of if you tried it was all good.

I used to be nervous about presentations but accidentally cured that in my second year of uni. Had to make a website with a few basic pages and one on a "Scientific Interest" that could be "anything you like as long as you can reference it" and it was a really silly module anyway so I decided to have fun with it. Took the mickey completely and wrote a rather odd page for my scientific interest, all about how the fictional animal called a tribble reproduces. It was fun
We had to do a presentation on our websites and for once I looked forward to it. I knew I'd done something insane, I knew the reactions I'd get and I wanted to have fun with it. I took in some tribbles, threw one around the room when it purred and vibrated when hit/thrown... Thoroughly enjoyed the startled reactions and made sure no-one forgot it lol
I even had friends wishing they could be there, and the best thing of the lot - I got decent marks and a comment on the good use of props

After that presentations never bothered me so much

I remember once I had to do a talk on Shakespeare for English. Although I had my best friend with me, I got sooooooo nervous, walked out the room, went to the toilets and cried!!! LOL. I think the main problem is that I go bright red and I get really conscious of it and I thought everyone was staring at me
