I just got a Kindle Fire!!!!!
Today I gathered some of my junk from around the house and cashed it in for gift cards at Best Buy. Then I went and bought a kindle fire using said gift cards to get a discount of around $50.
I love the Kindle Fire. Right now I am going through the free Apps and downloading a few onto it. I also can't wait to get movies and video onto it as well.

Re: I just got a Kindle Fire!!!!!
I just read some Manga on it. Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon to be exact. I am a huge Moonie ( Sailor Moon fan ). When I was just entering my teenage years and they were broadcasting the Anime series as a children's show here in the States, I would run around my room, jumping on my bed and shouting "MOON PRISM POWER!!!". I sometimes even chased after my kid brother, usually after he had read my diary, saying "In the name of the Moon, I will Punish you!!". I was, and still am, such a dork!! XD
I also like Inuyasha: A Fuedal Fairy Tale. I wish I was like Kagome and had magic beads to make a man sit on command. It would be very useful sometimes. That and having the ability to shoot magic spiritual arrows is just so awesome.
I started buying physical manga volumes at Books A Million, but it gets pricey after a while at around $5 each, so I am just using a second party Android app to read it on my Kindle Fire for free. Its called Mango. I highly recommend caution when downloading second party apps to any device, you just don't know what harm they possess, if any. Just do so at your own risk.

Re: I just got a Kindle Fire!!!!!
I can't believe it but I managed to be able to get an old Game Boy Advanced emulator onto the Fire and can now play Pokemon Emerald. Its one of my favorite versions of the game series.

Re: I just got a Kindle Fire!!!!!
Silver, you guys should send something to Amazon to tell them to hurry up and get the Fire for sale over there. Its so totally awesome.
I am enjoying it so much. Going to watch some Inuyasha on it here in a bit ( thanks to an app called Crunchyroll ). Gotta say though, its not going to ever be an iPad killer ( it has no cameras or microphones or anything ), but its a nice affordable tablet nonetheless.

Re: I just got a Kindle Fire!!!!!
From what I ascertain, and that means from what I just read via Google, the Fire can't function in Europe because the Cloud, a web based storage program that it uses, and its Silk web browsing software would run into a whole mountain of conflicting legal issues both here in the Kindle's home country of the US and overseas in Europe. I am sure that Amazon is trying to sort it all out and make a version for Europe that won't infringe on anything, though it might be a while yet. At least for you, they have finally managed to get the Touch out over there.
