Pictures in thread...?

I noticed how a lot of you actually put the pictures in the thread instead of them showing up at the bottom. How do you do that? Sorry, I only know how to get them at the bottom though! This is the only forum I'm on so it's kind of confusing

There's a little button that looks like this when you're doing replies. You click it and it asks for the url of the image, which is usually called something like "direct link" on image uploading websites such as photobucket/imageshack. Put it in then press OK

Make sure the image is not too big when you upload it, though -- that's usually another option while you're putting it on photobucket/imageshack/etc, to have it resized. I have yet to find out how to resize images on the forum, and I'm not actually sure it's possible

Also on photobucket, you can upload the picture, resize it and use the [img] code to paste directly on your answer

I just use the [img] codes, so if you've got a picture uploaded, you put [*img]http://www.pictureuploader.com/picturename.png[/img], but obviously substitute the picture address as the actual picture's, and take out the asterisk in the first [img] bit.
