Default Hamster costs

So I popped into a pet store to pick up some shavings for Angels most hated thing- cage clean out !

Whilst there I picked her up some Hamster salad( basically grass and similar stuff) for 3 quids.

I then stopped at tesco for milk and a human treat - I fancied mixed nuts or crunchy nuggets .... I looked at the price and thought I'm not paying 2.50 for some nuts or nuggets.

When I got home I realised I had happily bought Angel a treat for 3 quid but wouldn't spend 2.50 on myself

I'm getting old - a bag of sweets for £2.50 bah humbug.

lol I'm the same, human treats seem overpriced...
Hamster treats I do sometimes think are overpriced but I'm a lot more likely to decide to pay it

But hamsters are smaller than us, so the same sized bag of treats will last longer if a hamster was eating them than if we were That's how to justify the money

I dont buy commercially available hamster treats as I think they are expensive for artificial junk most of the time.

I do buy a bag of bakers dog treats for the dog and the syrian gets one now and again and I give them a monkey nut every now and again, and they get a little egg from time to time too.

I just wash my hair when I get in from work on an evening and its dry by the next morning, thats how much id rather spend money on animals and toys

My hair is halfway down my back, and even when down past my bum it was always dry by morning need a new pillow yearly though as damp hair on a pillow isnt great. Luckily I only wash my hair every other day or every third day, daily that would be too much of a chew on!

So when you say to a bloke chatting you up , " I'm staying in tonight to wash my hair " it's true.

that is why I let mine dry naturally so as not to dry it out and it takes me 30 mins with a hair dryer lol I am too tight to pay for the leccy for it, but I will pay for heater in the animal room .. twisted I know! I do own a hair dryer but only use it on the rabbit ... I am crazy!

Nothing wrong with crazy hair colours! I used to do that but I went back natural!
