whooo! new tattoo tomorrow :)

rather excited. will be my biggest one yet covering my entire thigh when we are done. got 2 hours to do tomorrow. havent had a tattoo for nearly a year now so its well over due

I am too much of a wuss to get a tattoo myself. Something about having a needle puncture the same patch of skin over and over again for an hour and then dealing with pain similar to a bad sunburn for a week or so on said patch of skin is not appealing to me. Then there is the peeling and whatnot.

Did I mention my skin, which is as pale as a ghost, welts at the slightest scrape? Yup. I won't be under the needle anytime soon.

My mom has an absolutely lovely tattoo of a pair of bluebirds flying against a background of a spray of dogwood blossoms. Something about her parents and their deaths motivated her to get it I guess.

I love tattoos because I think there is real skill involved and they look amazing when done, but I get bored so quickly with them that after a month of having one done I'd want it changed, and it doesn't work that way.
