Today has just been the worst. I started out in a panic woken up by my manager told that my account was ending its contract so I needed to choose a new account, which he told me there were lots of options so I wasn't worried. So then I go down to the main office after working my shift (which is in a different city, a 40 min drive one way) then waited there for like an hour and a half. Then I start doing this more extensive background check and more references and such because the position he had for me required a higher level of clearance. Because of my immigration taking 4 years for the paperwork to go through I couldn't meet the 10 year work history because I wasn't allowed to work during that time so I couldn't get the higher paying account. So then they start trying to get me to drive out to that area for work everyday which would add 120 mins and gas price to what I'm already doing for not much more money so I said no.
I told them before I went in i need something close because our car is 16 years old. So then all they had was a part time lower then I get paid now gig that is 16 miles farther then I drive now. So I said yes because I have to work somewhere. Then he goes on to say its not even set hours so my schedule will be all over the place. So now I have to start looking for another job in case they can't find anything better for me. Up until today I had been impressed with the manager but after this second face to face I now know his game. He does this whole super complimentary thing and this whole bend over backwards for you thing but in reality is just as ineffective as the last 2 managers I've had (maybe a bit better I don't know but if so not much).
So then I came home to sleep for work tonight and had about 30 nightmares i think 8 of them were about school, I'm starting college soon. The rest were about work and being murdered (which would be completely crazy if I weren't a security guard becoming a flex officer which means I can get sent out to random places I know nothing about). 10 of them happened somehow in the exact same minute. I woke up 10 times and it was exactly the same time as the last one I woke up from. Either that or I had 10 dreams extra where I woke up from nightmares at the same time. One of my nightmares was awaking up from a nightmare to get bit by a snake on my pillow. Then I came into work and thats a whole other thing I can't disclose but not good. Since then I've been going through our finances and stuff and we might barely be able to squeek by if we don't spend a cent on anything we don't absolutely need and don't go anywhere. Unless I get some good news about my school loans being decent amounts I can't afford to go. I'm pretty upset right now.
Seriously horrible day. I would want to go back to bed and stay there if i hadn't have had so many nightmares. I haven't slept so badly in a decade.

Fingers crossed that your work will find something better for you. Until then, focus on piggie cuddles, and take each day at a time.
