I'd highly recommend you get a second generation i3 or preferably i5.
The difference between the 1st generation and 2nd generation is about 10-15% increase in cpu performance, and significantly (double/triple) graphics performance.
You can tell if it's a second generation i3 or i5 if the name is followed by 4 numbers and an m.
The first generation ones are 3 numbers with an m.
It's also worth remembering, you can always add more RAM into a laptop. But you can't change the processor or graphics (without taking the entire thing apart)

I have a toshiba satellite laptop it was £425 including a printer. so i thought it was pretty good to be honest. and i like it
