Wow I am glad I don't live anywhere with extreme weather....

Where I live, my favourite thing is my house!
It's great. But my OH got a new job just after we moved in and we want to move, but can't because of the housing market and no-one has the money/inclination to buy my lovely house! We moved here because of a different job, so we now have no friends or family or even work colleagues nearby, so life sucks. And because of my kids ages, we need to move asap before they start important school years.

Please send buying vibes to everyone in Staffordshire ♥

Ok, ok, I have just remembered - I live in a lovely small town in a beautiful part of the country, and the people are very nice. The town is small and so lacks amenities, but overall it is a nice safe place to live

Sadly there is little to love about Basildon itself, but my favourite thing about where I live is the community of church/school that we are part of. Whatever the issue, there is always someone happy to help out. We have thought of relocating to be closer to my family in Devon, but I love my friends too much

It's great to be close to family if your family actually acts like a family otherwise its just sort of a drag. the same goes for friends. Its always better to stick with the people who love and support you no matter what. And titles don`t always matter for that unfortunately.

That's true. Tbh we are trying to move close to OH's job - it is easier to do that, and in the future if things change, he is in the right part of the country for his "profession"
We have some friends who live nearer that part of the country, and he has colleagues who are good friends and will welcome us there.

It will be further from family.... our other option is to move nearer to where we're from, where our Mums live and old friends. But that would mean extra travelling every week, whereas moving nearer to work, we could just travel up there extra every month if we wanted to see those friends/family.

Anyway, I am trying to do a part exchange on a new build house, but its hard - either they don't do part-x / will do part-x up to a low figure / won't do it to someone out of their area .... oh and the new house has to be loads more expensive than your current house (30% differential) so --- argghhh --- it is a nightmare! Luckily we can spend the amount required (phew!) but still things are not working out.

Anyway, you guys looking for a job after Uni / college - I wish you well. It's tough out there ♥

Nah we`re starting uni this year so 4 years to worry about that yet. :S I'm sure there will probably be wars over where to live when we start applying for jobs though as neither of us will have wanted to spend 4 years to get better jobs and then have to settle for one we don`t want just because its in the same city.

I live in a small town, it's not to pretty and green because we live in a desert area. But the pic of the mountains is about an hour away. So there are pretty places close by. I really like my town though, I can't stand crowds THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY! It's a nice place.
Oh and in the third pic the roses are dead lol
