Whoot!
Bishop Burton College has offered me an unconditional place on their Extended Foundation Degree in Animal Management and Behaviour!!!!!
Now I just have to hope they don't pull the course due to lack of interest!

Re: Whoot!
Oh my congratulations Demecat. That is fantastic
I love that college. There used to be a show there a few years ago and we always enjoyed it.

Re: Whoot!
The only downside is that I'll be living in and will have to leave the hams at home

Y? Don't they allow small pets on campus? My friend kept her pet gerbil when she was studying, but that was in south Wales. Perhaps it is different from campus to campus.

Re: Whoot!
They don't allow it because they cannot keep an eye on the welfare of a whole load of 'pets' being kept in student accommodation

Re: Whoot!
In a way, it makes sense, imagine if some person abused a pet on campus, the college could be held responsible, and lose their own animals.

Re: Whoot!
But not all students would abuse or neglect their pets, but you are right Demecat.
