Re: Wish Me Luck :L
Good luck!!!
Just to be clear, does "revise" in England mean review what you've written and make corrections (the American meaning) or does it mean reviewing notes you've taken over the past few months to remember the material you've learned for an upcoming exam? Here, "revision" is usually for a paper you've written which needs corrections.

Re: Wish Me Luck :L
It's both, but in this context 'revise' means to review your notes and check you know as much as possible, Hamtastic. What do you call that?
Good luck, Gizmodo.

Re: Wish Me Luck :L
We just call it "studying for exams" and "reviewing notes" heh. "Revising" sounds very odd, that's why I had to ask, as I keep seeing it used in a different context in the UK.
According to Dictionary.com (U.S.):
- to amend or alter: to revise one's opinion.
- to alter something already written or printed, in order to make corrections, improve, or update: to revise a manuscript.
- (British) to review (previously studied materials) in preparation for an examination.

Re: Wish Me Luck :L
Is it a modular?
it's nothing to stress about, even if you did iffy in one, there's another 3 to amend the mark.
They're easier than they seem at the time
(I assume you're doing triple science if it's only 25%?)

Re: Wish Me Luck :L
Good luck Gizmodo (although you probably won't see this til after the exam, as you will be too busy revising to come on HC ) - sending you strong intelligence and memory vibes so that you do exta-well
(and yes, Hamtastic, we do use "revise" in the context of study for an exam or, more commonly, to mean, sitting with books and notes whilst stealing a sneaky look at HC )
