Thank you/update on Marvin

First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to all who gave me advice to pass on to my friend the other night when she was worried about her hamster Marvin. It really helped and she was really grateful. He is still going strong!! She rang the vet that night and the vet said there was very little they could do, they said he has outlived most hamsters (he's 2 and a half) and it's probably old age. They told her to keep him warm and comfy and to take him in if he seems to be in pain. I really thought he was going to pass that night but he's perked up a bit since then although he's not 100% he's eating and drinking. She's following all the advice you gave and just keeping a close eye on him.

I think I may have missed the original post as well, but it's great to hear Marvin's well!

glad he is doing well if he is still cold maybe warming up a little babyfood or porridge, dont give it to him hot, more, the cold side of warm, but he will get an added boost.
i hope he continues to do well!
