How do you spend New Years Day?
As the title says? Any traditions? Usually I make a roast, put new clothes on and watch a Bond film
However...today I shall be trecking across Birminghams finest public transport to reach a vets far far away for my Rat who developed a head tilt last night, if I can get him a steroid injection within the first 24hours he has more chance of recovering and it not becoming permanent
lets hope this is not a sign of things to come!
Happy New Year all!

Re: How do you spend New Years Day?
Oh no poor rat baby I saw your post on fancy rats forum. I hope he is okay. Give him scritches.
I'm going to have a lazy morning then in afternoon do some spring cleaning or even go over to my parents house. Then I'm going to get ratties and hammies out for cuddles (not at same time though). Oh and I'm going to clean the ratties out. They are very smelly and I probably clean them out too often but they are smellies.

Re: How do you spend New Years Day?
More of the same as I have this entire holiday period. Slouching in my pj's, drinking way to much tea and relaxing in front of the tv. May start on a little stash of cards for the coming months. Apart from that - not looking forward to going back to work after the bank holidays on wednesday.
Hope vet visit goes okay AI.
Happy new year every one. Hope 2012 is kind to all xxx

Today were being lazy, and then going to the mother in laws.
I hope your rat is okay, and applaud you for braving public transport on a bank holiday
Happy new year everyone.

Re: How do you spend New Years Day?
Good luck, hope you get your little 'un sorted.
I will be mostly recovering from the unaccustomed late night. My OH is at work; the girls and I have only just finished in the bath. Oops, too late for breakfast. After lunch we will need to clean out our guinea pig guests.

Re: How do you spend New Years Day?
No traditions here.
I'll be spending today with mum though - she'll be arriving in about an hour and a half and we'll be having our Christmas over the next few days. She only had a couple of days off at Christmas and we thought it would be better to have more time together and move out Christmas a few days.
