How do you spend New Years Day? - Page 3

Nat, so glad your boy was good for the vet, and here's to a speedy recovery

I did the same I do every day after a busy / stressful / breakdown-y few days. I got up at 4pm, ate garbage and watched 4 episodes of Breaking Bad with my best pal.

Now I'm back in bed, watching The Office (season 4), setting my alarms, to go and get Fur-nando back tomorrow! Too excited to sleep. I miss my boy so bad

Looking forward to painting this week, and not looking forward to being in court (as a witness!) and missing the start of the uni term for the said reason. But hey, I don't think I've had a full breakdown, so that's good, amrite! x

Normally I would be pajama girl. But I had to go to work as one of our temps had only that last day to spend with his family before going to uni on the 2nd, ahh well I need the money XD lots of hammy and rabbit goodies to buy

We have roast dinner, use up any crackers left over and sleep XD
Hope the rattie is ok x

On New Years Day, we always go over to my Granparents for Dinner&Tea, and my cousins and uncle and Aunt come over too

New Years Day is usually spent back home in Japan for me. It wasn't this year but meh. -.-

New Years Eve I have to go to a massive family meet up at my grandmother's house where I usually sit and talk to my older brother. When it starts getting late we head up to the local shrine and wait for the bells to toll. Make our wishes for the New Year and then me and my older brother head back to his to put his daughters (they're 9) to bed. Then we have our first drink of the year, first joke about our dad of the year, watch the first sunrise and fall asleep.

Its a relief to hear Remy is on the up

Its interesting to read about everyones new years too. I was shattered, but managed to get up to go spend half the day at my grandparents with other family.
There was a lot of chat about me and my hamster showing, I think my family were impressed at how seriously I take hamsters x
