BRC rung means she is show bred, she is from a recognised breeder, she is also 3 years old not 1 as i was told (i can tell that because the ring starts BRC 08 meaning born 2008 )

so i have rang the BRC, and that ring batch was bought in jan, so she was born early 08, and her breeder was a mr topham..... now to track him down

i also believe her breed to be satin, but having never seen one in the flesh im not 100% on that, will be running it past my breeder friend who breeds satin and other fur breeds.

they are both fine in them selves, the rabbit isnt as over weight as the pictures made out, the pig is really thin though, you can see her hip bones and everything

which was found on the BRC website xxx

i found that too, i really want to know who he is and if he bred her!!

will just have to wait for beckis imput, she breeds satins too, so will hopefully have some idea, they really arent a common breed at all

any way, i might aswell share the photos here too, she is a stunner

just got conformation, she is indeed a satin, and it looks like her breeder mau be Jim Topham who is the secretary of the midland satin club, need to get conformation on that though

will be interesting to find out her past

Her fur looks lovely to touch, especially round her nose, it looks like Rex fur a bit.

shes a caster, her fur is like rex, but not, satins like rex, are fur breeds

satins however, are a rare breed, and coloured satins (she is a coloured) are even rarer!!!

think i will give Mr topham a ring tomorow see if he can shed any light on her past

Her fur is amazing: shiny and bright. Poor piggy, I'm glad both animals will now be treated fairly.
