Its probably best not to, isn't she recovering from a surgery? I would think that taking her to an unfamiliar place would be a bad idea. Perhaps you know someone close to home that can watch her whole your gone?

It depends where you are going Lilaham. If it is not until easter, that will give her 5wks to recover, and if the drive is not too long and you can take her normal cage then it will probably be fine to take her. Hamsters usually travel well but you must watch that the car does not overheat as they can die from heat stroke if left in a hot place. Also a holiday cottage may not be as warm as she is used to at home and may not allow animals so check that out first. I am sure you will be able to find a friend or neighbour who would care for her and be sure to check with the vet about travel too. Hope she is recovering well from her operation.
