Missing our lost ones..

Do you ever have a day where you remember one of your passed away animals and you start to miss them again? Thinking about Daisy makes me miss her so much I wish I could go back to the day when I got her.

Yes I often remember the hamsters I have had - especially as I now have 2 and had a long time period when I didn't have any. I think that the missing part is more of a happy memory, when I am sad or low the memory cheers me up and puts a smile on my face and inside me to.
I think its the same with friends and family. I actually had a dream last night about a friend that passed on whilst i was in college and when it happened it was sad, but now I look back on it with happier memories.

I think our memories are the parts of us that make us who we are, so don't miss Daisy - she was a special part of your life and the memory of the day you picked her up - helps make you the special person you are today.

We never forget even if they have only been with us for a short while

I often feel like that. Something reminds you of a lost one and you long so much to touch them, talk to them and just know they are there it can hurt. I like to think I always carry a bit of them around in my heart
