Default Goodnight Sandy

On April 9th my little hamster friend Sandy sadly passed away. She lived a long happy life and I'm grateful for her being part of my life for 2 years. Sandy was an amazing friend and a great little escape artist. The sad thing is her passing wasn't peaceful. It was really hard for me to see her struggle and there was simply nothing I possibly could've done. That experience was so heartbreaking, but the moment she passed she didn't look like she was suffering or in any pain and I knew she went to a better place. I needed more time to heal from losing my furry friend longer then with my past hamsters and don't really know why. Anyway, I thought this post would be a good closure. I gave her the best life I could and I know she was living her life to the fullest.

I'm sorry for your loss, it's always so hard but you gave her a good life full of love & she will always live on in your heart.
Run free & play well at the bridge Sandy.

You clearly had a close relationship with Sandy, and it would have been very painful to see her passing not being peaceful. Sometimes there just isn't anything we can do except to be there. Hope you have many happy memories and photos of your two years together.
