Default Goodbye my little whirlwind

It's taken me a week to get to this because I just have no words. I've reached the conclusion that, much like I would never been ready for her to go, I'm never going to have the right words to say how much I'm going to miss Cadmium.

It doesn't feel like almost a year and a half since she came home, and I still find myself unable to believe she's gone- even writing this I'm struggling to believe it's real. I keep expecting to see her pottering around and grumbling to herself about the declining quality of minions these days and how hoomins were more efficient when she was a youngster.

She was a beautiful little lady in every possible way and I'm going to miss her enormously.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to readjust to life without our hamsters but their happy memories will live on, in time.

I think it can be easy to underestimate how much impact they can have on your life when you're accustomed to their company. I wasn't prepared for just how often I'd be reminded of her absence.

I know exactly what you mean because i have recently lost a hamster. Its quite hard to get the head round it and take in that they really are gone. Its like being in a bad dream waiting to wake up.

I'm so sorry for your loss, we can never be prepared however much we might think we can be & they do leave a huge hole in our lives.
Run free & play well at the bridge little Cadmium.

I'm so sorry for your loss, even after 20 years of having hamsters I still find it difficult when they go to the rainbow bridge. Being so little they have a huge impact in our lives. They leave a huge hole which takes time to heal. xx
