Ghost 13-05-2019
Ghost passed away this afternoon, he had been ill with cancer/tumour/growth in his abdomen, he had been getting the best palliative care we could give him.
Overnight his left eye had burst and his face was starting to swell, his weight had dropped even more and his tummy swelling was quite noticeable too.
I have buried him under the Cherry Tree in our new garden wrapped in tissue and in an improvised card egg box as his last resting place.
I may post a last image of him but it is quite distressing so I may not.
Here is a short poem for him ( I wrote two but I prefer this one)
A Ghost passed by this way today,
An ethereal form in pristine glory,
But I shall stay to tell his story,
No great deeds of daring do,
Just paws and whiskers as you do,
A Ghost passed by this way today.
