Little Blue has crossed the rainbow bridge <3
Two weeks ago we had to rush Blue to the emergency vets after it became apparent that he was very unwell. It turned out that he had a prolapsed bowel. Whilst the vet did manage to get it back in, it quickly popped back out again. We eventually made the difficult decision to put him to sleep. The vet felt that this was our only option, and to leave him would be causing him pain and suffering. It was absolutely heart breaking losing him, and there hasn't been a day that has gone by that I haven't thought of him.
Although it was very difficult to make this decision, I know it was what's best for him and now he is free from discomfort, enjoying the other side of the rainbow bridge. Sleep well Blue x

I am so sorry to hear about Little Blue - you did the kindest thing even though such a terrible wrench. They leave a big hole in your lives when they are gone - take your time when sorting out his things. I put a blanket over the cage for two weeks until I felt ready. It can also help when you've had a burial or memorial moment. I am sure he is playing free over the rainbow Bridge now - play well Little Blue xxx

I'm so sorry your loss of Little Blue.
It is always a very hard decision to make but you did the kindest thing for him, I had the same situation with one of my hams & there really is nothing more you can do, you gave the last gift of love that you could give to prevent him suffering.
Try to focus on the special memories he has left you with as he now lives on forever in your heart.
Run free & play well at the bridge Little Blue.
