Memorial to Muffy The Syrian :(
My Syrian hamster Muffy passed away on the 1st October this year, this is her dedication post to remember her by.
I originally bought Muffy as an emotional support animal while going through a bad relationship and the beginning of university; she gave me a safe space and someone to confide in when things became rough and too hard to handle without talking to someone.
Unfortunately I had to take Muffy to be euthanized after finding out she had grown an ovarian tumour (Which is apparently common in female Syrians?)
I miss the sounds of her scurrying around her cage, the sound of her chewing the bars, and the sound of her always trying to dig to the other side of the world in her cage while making a nest.
The pictures included are her falling asleep in her wheel on the first day I brought her home, and another coming to investigate from her house nest
Rest in peace Muffy <3

I'm so sorry for your loss, Muffy was clearly a much loved special companion for you, you gave her a good life & did the kindest thing for her at the end.
I'm sure she will be sadly missed but has left you with wonderful memories to cherish.
Run free & play well at the bridge Muffy.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's amazing the powers that animals have to change our lives for the better. She was beautiful and I'm sure she misses you as much as you miss her.

Re: Memorial to Muffy The Syrian :(
I am so very sorry to hear of your dear Muffy's passing. She was a truly lovely ham and a wonderful heart ham. It was very touching that she was able to help you through some really hard times and I know that she will be greatly missed by you. You were very lucky to have her just as she was blessed to have you to love and care for her as well. My heart goes out to you during this emotional time and I am sending you tons of hugs. We are all here for you. Take comfort knowing that she is no longer in any pain and is running free and happily at the bridge. She is now you guardian angel ham looking down at you lovingly at the bridge. She will live on in your heart and memories always. Hugs.
RIP, dear Muffy. You were truly special and will be greatly missed. Please send a lovely rainbow to your loving hamparent who misses you so.
