Good bye Kiku
Shes been gone for a little over a week and i still can't believe. The vet had told me she had been loseing weight at with an age of 2 1/2 years any number of things could be going on. We made the next appointment for 5 weeks and i went home. The day she left still shocks me though. I got up said good afternoon and left for work and she was fine. When i got home 6 hours later she wasnt doing to good. 4 hours later she was gone.....
I wish i could have done more. Saved her somehow..... Though i know that would have been impossible. Ive heard 2 1/2 years is a good life for a hamster. And i know i gave her the best life i could. Thanks to the vet and biweekly tooth trims i got an extra 6 months with her. I still miss her so so much.
My sweet darling Kiku.....

Re: Good bye Kiku
I am so very sorry for your loss of Kiku. She had a long and happy life filled with so much love and tender loving care. You did absolutely everything you possibly could to keep her healthy for as long as possible with baby food and vet tooth trims. May your many, lovely memories of your precious Kiku bring you comfort and the knowledge that you gave her the very best life and home possible give you peace during this very emotional time. She has passed to the bridge, but her tiny paw prints will forever be in your heart.
RIP, sweet Kiku. Run free and happy at the bridge.

I'm so sorry for your loss DamienAO, it's always very hard to lose a ham but Kiku lived to a really good age & had a long life full of love with you, she couldn't have wished for more.
I'm sure she will be very sadly missed but will have left you with many special memories to cherish as she lives forever in your heart.
Run free & play well at the bridge Kiku.
