Goodnight Cookie

I found Cookie in her nest, not moving. My heart broke, even tough I knew this moment was coming. For the last few months she showed signs of old age (she was sleeping more, got weaker...).
Cookie was my little ball of fur with a big heart and huge personality. I miss her so much, but I know I gave her a good and happy life.

I am so sorry - our little furry hamster friends have such a special place in our hearts and lives and leave a hole. But Cookie is playing free over the Rainbow Bridge now and keeping an eye on you xxxx It is such a hard time, but I am sure when the time is right you will be laughing at the antics of another hamster who needs a loving home. It isn't the same - they all have different personalities.

Just know that you and Cookie had a unique bond and it is no doubt that she will always remember you and your happy memories. So sorry to hear about Cookie, a huge comfort she passed away in her nest. They have such a huge impact on our lives and when they go, they leave a huge hole. I always get something made to remember my hams, like a memory box, a mug, candle, keyring or cushion. Many of the members buy a pot plant to have in the garden.
