Metallica’s ‘Mad Little Fairy’ exchanged her fairy wings for angel wings last night and watches over her fluffy friends from her special place at the bridge.

Jessie Jaye came from a pet shop during a moment where temptation got the better of me. Once I set eyes on that cheeky little face, I knew that she’d have to come home with me. I knew I could give her the loving and understanding home that she needed. A friendly little hamster and always an optimist, Jessie was a joy to have around.

Sleep well my Mad Little Fairy and know how much you were loved.

It seems odd to be in the hamster room and not have her attention seeking antics to distract me from whatever I was doing.

I'm glad to have had the joy of being her owner and we've come a long way since she arrived as a six week old baby back in March 2016. She taught many of the Metallica Hams the importance of begging for seeds. She was truly a unique character.
